KATHY SULLIVAN - NOTHING SHORT OF FANTASTIC!  Jean Conrad and Dan Lyons welcome Kathy Sullivan to Gettysburg for the 2010 Hesburgh Lecture. Kathy provided an outstanding presentation, touching everyone who attended. OUTSTANDING - AGAIN! Our Gettysburg Club was named the Outstanding F Size Club for 2009 at the recent Senate Conference in South Bend. The club was also recognized with the Website Award, a Program Excellence Award and a Citation Award. Left - Jean Conrad gives Chuck Lennon our $6,000 Scholarship check as Region Director John Delaney provides his support.

LENTEN RETREAT & MASS - Our annual Lenten Retreat and Mass took place on March 27th at Gettysburg College. The day had three parts - Lenten Retreat, Mass, and Lunch. Our Chaplain, Father Mike Reid, said Mass in Christ Chapel on the campus. Bill Collinge, a professor from Mount Saint Mary's, provided an enlightening talk on the theology of Father Dunne from Notre Dame.

2010 ROAD CLEAN-UP UNDERWAY! Our road crew was out for the first time on March 20th and they filled 31 garbage bags with trash from Route 116. Nineteen members assembled at the Food Lion at 9:00am and finished the job in two hours. A number of these members helped with bingo later that same day. Thanks for such great support!

BIG BINGO A HUGE SUCCESS!  Rick Staub and Linda Masenheimer led the way as our three bingo nights raised close to $6,000 for Delone Catholic, our partner in this project and the same amount for our club. The support from club members was outstanding as the March event saw 36 members supporting the effort.

FATHER CORBY RESTORED!  The club recently received word from Chuck Loving at the Snite Museum that our effort to get the Corby statue restored was completed. The club initiated the project, lobbied for funds, and contributed $2,000 to accomplish this goal. (Click on title for more information.)
